Privacy Policy
Updated October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FlixStudio collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you create an account, generate videos, schedule posts, or connect a YouTube channel. Contact the FlixStudio operator at ericbusiness1231006@gmail.com with privacy questions, complaints, or data requests.
1. YouTube API Services and Google Privacy Policy
FlixStudio uses YouTube API Services. Connecting YouTube lets FlixStudio upload and publish videos to the channel you authorize, using your selected visibility, schedules, and approval settings. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect and access
- Account information: email address, username, account identifier, account creation information, and a salted password hash if you choose password sign-in. Email verification and password-reset requests use temporary verification records.
- Google and YouTube information: when you authorize a Google connection, Google supplies the account identifier, verified email and basic profile information used to verify that connection, along with the permissions and OAuth access and refresh tokens you grant. For uploads, FlixStudio processes video files, titles, descriptions, visibility, upload responses, video identifiers, and publishing status. Read-only YouTube account access lets us obtain the channel identifier and name, so one verified email is linked to one channel. We store that binding and posting history to enforce channel-level limits. Connecting YouTube does not grant access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or Google password.
- Creative content and settings: prompts, reference images, prerecorded and generated videos, titles, descriptions, schedules, timezone, review or automatic-publishing choices, queued jobs, and publishing history.
- Billing and service records: plan selection, creator applications, optional use-case and subscriber-band answers, usage and trial records, PayPal subscription and transaction identifiers, payment status, and refund or cancellation records.
- Technical information: session identifiers, request details, IP-address information used for abuse prevention, and operational or error logs needed to run and protect the service. Our hosting and email-delivery providers also process the information needed to deliver their services.
3. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, send sign-in and reset codes, protect accounts, provide plan recommendations, manage subscriptions and usage limits, generate and preview requested content, run your queue, and publish videos under the settings you choose. We use Google and YouTube information only to provide the connected features you authorize and to keep those features working securely. We do not request your Google password.
Review mode waits for your approval before a launch. Automatic mode carries out the publishing instructions you enable, including schedules and repeat batches, subject to service and account limits. You can pause creation, pause publishing, change review settings, and remove eligible jobs before launch. Changes to content already published must be made on YouTube.
4. Google user data and Limited Use
FlixStudio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell Google or YouTube user data, provide it to data brokers, use it for personalized advertising or credit decisions, or use it to train or improve generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Transfers are limited to delivering the user-facing features you authorize, protecting security, complying with law, or a business transfer with the consent required by Google's rules. People may access this data only with your specific permission, when necessary for security or legal obligations, or in other cases expressly permitted by those rules.
5. Service providers and sharing
- Google and YouTube: receive authorization requests, video uploads, and associated publishing details to connect your channel and carry out your instructions.
- Video and image providers: the provider you select receives the prompt and reference media needed for your generation request. Available integrations may include Google Gemini/Veo, xAI/Grok, Runway, and AtlasCloud/WAN. Your video concept may also be sent to OpenAI to research ideas or create titles and descriptions. The metadata-generation request does not include your password, Google OAuth tokens, or provider API keys.
- PayPal: processes checkout, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds. FlixStudio stores the identifiers and status needed to manage your plan; this application does not collect your full payment-card number.
- Hosting, email, and support providers: process information needed to host the application, store your files, deliver verification messages, maintain security, and address your support requests.
Supplying your own generation API key authorizes requests to that provider under your account; its generation charges are separate from your FlixStudio subscription. Provider terms and privacy notices apply to their services. Google and YouTube data remains subject to the restrictions in this policy when a provider processes it for FlixStudio.
6. Storage and protection
Account records and media are kept in private server storage outside the public website directory. Google OAuth tokens, saved generation keys, and queued-job key copies are encrypted at rest. Passwords are stored as hashes. Authenticated account checks, protected session cookies, and request-verification controls restrict access to private account actions and files. Public-host operation uses HTTPS. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that any system is completely secure.
7. Retention and saved jobs
We retain account records, creative content, schedules, and job history while needed to deliver your saved content, subscriptions, and requested work, or until you remove eligible content or request deletion. Google authorization tokens are retained while needed for your authorized connection and are removed from local storage when you use Disconnect YouTube. Information obtained through YouTube APIs is subject to YouTube's applicable retention, refresh, and deletion requirements.
Removing a saved generation key prevents its use for new jobs but does not erase encrypted authorization copies already attached to queued jobs. Remove those jobs as well, or request deletion of their saved data. Verification codes expire after ten minutes; expiration prevents their use. Necessary payment and security records may be retained for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Disconnecting and revoking access
Use Disconnect YouTube in your account to remove locally stored Google OAuth tokens and pause future automatic publishing. You can independently revoke FlixStudio's Google authorization from the Google security permissions page or Google Account connections.
If you used a browser-worker session in an older build, contact support to revoke or delete its saved data. This build does not use a browser agent. Disconnecting, revoking access, or deleting FlixStudio data does not delete videos or other information already stored by YouTube.
9. Data access, correction, and deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your stored account, Google/YouTube connection data, creative files, or browser-worker data, email ericbusiness1231006@gmail.com from the email associated with your account and identify the information you want removed. Do not send passwords or API keys. We may verify account ownership to prevent unauthorized deletion.
We handle requests to delete stored Google/YouTube user data as soon as possible and within seven calendar days, as required by YouTube's policies. Deletion can stop connected publishing and queued work. Records required by law may be retained only for that purpose. Deleting data held by FlixStudio does not delete data held by YouTube. To remove a published YouTube video, use YouTube Studio. A privacy request does not itself cancel a PayPal subscription; use the account cancellation control or contact us about cancellation.
10. Cookies and third-party services
FlixStudio uses session cookies to keep you signed in, protect account actions, and maintain verification and connection flows. Your browser accesses the files you select when you choose to upload them. External providers may receive your IP address and apply their own cookies or similar technology when you follow their links or use their sign-in or checkout pages. This application does not include third-party advertising scripts.
11. Children
FlixStudio is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so that we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
12. Changes to this policy
The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes to how Google or YouTube user data is accessed, used, or shared require notice and renewed consent before the new use begins. The privacy and terms pages are available without signing in and are linked from the application.
